Video has surfaced from an incident at a high school football game Friday out of New Jersey between Immaculata and Linden that resulted in one player getting 10 stitches.
A Linden defensive lineman pulled off the helmet of an Immaculata offensive lineman during a play, and then swung the helmet and landed the blow right into the Immaculata player’s head.
The Linden player was flagged for a personal foul on the play, but not ejected from the game. NJ.com reports that while neither player from the incident has been identified, the local police are looking into it.
