After reading an ad about a confederate flag heritage ride making its way through Lafayette, IN, a local woman decided she was going to pull attention away from the cause.
In only her underwear, a woman by the name of Maddie stood at the intersection of a busy road, sporting a sign that read “4,000 dead,” in an attempt to draw attention to the history of the flag.
Maddie called the waving of the confederate flag “an act of domestic terrorism,” which is aimed at minorities in our community and she had the names of victims of alleged hate crimes such as Freddie Gray and Trayvon Martin.
