Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff U.S. Army Gen. Martin Dempsey said in an interview that aired on this weekend’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week” that the involvement of Russia in the fight with ISIS “could complicate things.”
“If they occupy an airfield and conduct a train and equip program for the Syrian regime, that’s one thing; if they actually participate in the campaign against what they believe to be ISIL it could complicate things,” Martin said on Russian involvement in the region.
