A college party near Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts got a little out of hand recently.
Captured on a partygoer’s cellphone was 20-year-old Alexander Marquez pushing off fellow student and 20-year-old Sophia Czarowicz.
Some of the crowd had been chanting for Czarowicz to make the 10-foot jump, but Marquez went ahead and pushed her off. Fortunately for Czarowicz, other students broke her fall, keeping her from suffering severe injuries.
According to the Boston Globe, Marquez was arraigned and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He pleaded not guilty and is set to return to court later this month.
Marquez’s bail was set at $5,000.
The university is still currently investigating the incident.
