Columnist Clarence Page argued that the pushes for censorship on college campuses in the name of political correctness are “the exact opposite of what universities are about” on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”
Page stated that while there has always “some censorship” on college campuses, “Nowadays, we’ve got various establishments, either a student body group, or some other interested parties, who want to shield students from being exposed too much in the world, which is the exact opposite of what universities are about.”
