Video of a Kentucky man saving a fallen American flag by retrieving it from the rain and folding it up to protect it was caught on security footage from a bank, .
The man, Michael Pritchard, said he was on the way home from church on Sunday with his pregnant wife when he stopped to save the flag, which was laying on the ground after the rope snapped.
“It was just the right thing to do. There was a need that needed to be attended to,” Pritchard said about his deed.
