New York Yankees AAA affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders did something that you do not see every day in professional baseball.
Tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Railriders outfielder Ben Gamel hit the ball to rightfield and Boston Red Sox AAA affiliate Pawtucket Red Sox rightfielder Jonathan Roof could not come up with the catch and the ball rolled to the wall, allowing Gamel to run all the way around the bases to score the winning run for what is considered one of the most exciting plays in baseball.
