In press conference on Wednesday, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft took to the media on the heels of the NFL’s announcement that it had denied an appeal of a four-game suspension for team quarterback Tom Brady for allegedly deflating footballs to give him and his team an advantage.
Kraft slammed the league, calling their decision “reprehensible” and admitted he regretted trusting in the league to come to the proper conclusion.
“Once again, I want to apologize to fans of the New England Patriots and Tom Brady,” Kraft said to reporters. “I was wrong to put my faith in the league.”
