Coulter: ‘Kate Steinle Died Specifically as a Result of Obama’s Policies’

On Wednesday’s “The Kelly File,” conservative commentator Ann Coulter, author of “¡Adios America! The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole,” reacted to President Barack Obama and his lack of willingness to console the family of Kate Steinle, who was allegedly murdered by Francisco Sanchez, an illegal immigrant that was deported five times already.

Coulter told host Megyn Kelly her death was a product of Obama’s policies.

“[K]ate Steinle died specifically as a result of Obama’s policies,” Coulter said. “I might add, also, as a result of George Bush’s policies although some people on Fox News are pushing a law to make it a felony to reenter after being deported for committing a crime. That already is the law. If only you had somebody with a bestselling book on the topic. It’s a 20-year felony if you reenter after being deported for having committed an aggravated felony.”

“I think it is also worth mentioning here because you hear not only Obama and the Democrats but people like Rand Paul saying we have to clear the prisons of the poor nonviolent drug criminals. ‘It’s nonviolent,” she added. “They are no threat to anyone.’ Notice that every one of the illegal immigrant’s crimes was a nonviolent drug felony, as I pointed out a couple of weeks ago it is nonviolent drug felons have a higher rate of violent crime than burglars, drug traffickers, all sorts of things that are considered nonviolent. And instead of calling Kate Steinle’s family, what is Obama doing? He is releasing more nonviolent drug criminals.”
