WGNTV.com released a video of a New York City Panera Bread manager striking an employee multiple times in the restaurant.
The YouTube user Midgarr, that initially posted the video, says the employee quit mid-shift, threw a bag of chips on the floor and was physically thrown out of the restaurant by the manager. The employee reentered the restaurant, which prompted the filming of the incident, and then the scuffle happened.
A loud clap can be heard right before the manager hits the employee, eventually dropping her roughly to the ground.
Both the manager and the employee have been fired, but no criminal charges are known to have been filed at this time.
