On Sunday’s broadcast of Fox New Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Ann Coulter, author of “¡Adios, America! — The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole,” pushed back at her critics who have accused her of taking her immigration stance too far in a debate she had with Fox News regular Geraldo Rivera on “The Kelly File” last week.

Coulter took aim at the media’s focus on shark attacks off the U.S. coast and the potential for an ISIS terror attack over the holiday weekend and argued the immigration problem was a bigger threat to Americans’ public safety.

“You know, going into this weekend, the media was consumed with stories about Americans have to be on the lookout for ISIS attacks, and terror attack expected, and oh, shark attacks, which Tucker had a very hilarious segment on – on Thursday night,” Coulter said. “I will bet you by the end of the weekend, more Americans will have been killed by Mexicans than by ISIS or by sharks.”
