Gutfeld on Confederate Flag: A City Run by a Liberal Is ‘Way More Harmful Than a Piece of Cloth’

Greg Gutfeld, host of Fox News Channel’s “The Greg Gutfeld Show,” opened up his Sunday show responding to the removal of the Confederate flag and the raising of the gay pride flag.

Gutfeld explained that the removal of the Confederate flag “will never prevent a massacre,” and that a city run by a liberal is “way more harmful than a piece of cloth.”

“This isn’t just about the flag, but the left making the South dance for them. Never mind it was the flag of the Democrats. Democrats seem fine with it: Hollings, Thurmond, Byrd, Clinton, Gore. The Bubbas loved it in ’92. Never mind that removing a flag will never prevent a massacre. If anything it adds to the rebel image. Removing the flag is indeed symbolic, and maybe it is necessary, but a city run by a liberal is way more harmful than a piece of cloth.”
