HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher said that he had “no quarter” for Ted Kennedy because “You can’t drive into a river and not report it for ten hours when someone drowns” on Friday.
During a discussion on the sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby, Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson said that Woody Allen and Roman Polanski should be in the same category as Cosby. Maher disagreed regarding Allen, but added “Roman Polanski, definitely, that’s right, I agree. I have no quarter for Roman Polanski or Ted Kennedy. You know, there are certain things you can’t do. You can’t drive into a river and not report it for ten hours when someone drowns.”
