Golfer Jason Day collapsed while walking across a slope in his final hole of the 2105 U.S. Open on Friday. He was attended to by medical personnel and later got up to finish his final round and reportedly suffered through a “dizzy spell.”
Day recently struggled with dizziness, having to pull out of the Byron Nelson Championship in May.
However, Day bogeyed to finish his day 2-under par, putting him right in the middle of his competition; some uncertainty remains about his status for the rest of the U.S. Open.
