Clarke: Police Task Force Just ‘Lapdog Bureaucrats’ and ‘Academic Elitists’

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke (D) argued the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing was just “lapdog bureaucrats” and “academic elitists” on Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

Clarke said the police task force “had a couple of lapdog bureaucrats on there, and then the rest of them were academic elitists. At ground level it’s a lot different. … And what I witnessed on the left was just distraction…distraction against what the real problem is in the American ghetto and it is not the American police officer. It is modern liberalism that has been a wrecking ball on the black community and the black family structure.”

Clarke also accused President Obama of ignoring the issue of modern liberalism’s damage to the black community out of “political expediency, he has succeeded with a strategy of divide and conquer.” And that he is the one who needs to do some “soul searching” instead of kicking white voters in the teeth.
