Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” while discussing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unwillingness to take questions from the media while campaigning for president, David Axelrod, a former top political adviser for President Barack Obama, said, “It would be a terrible mistake” for Clinton to continue this strategy.
Axelrod said, “Look, she has to get out there and answer questions. She has to do it routinely so it’s not a major news event.”
He added, “She has to get into the rhythm of a campaign where she’s out there, She’s answering questions, making speeches. it would be a terrible mistake to not do that.”
