On Thursday’s episode of “Olbermann” on ESPN2, host Keith Olbermann called for the firing of executives that approved a Jumbotron video released by the Cleveland Cavaliers during their playoff game Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls, as well as the suspension of all others involved in the making of the video.
On top of the suspensions and firings, Olbermann called for the Cavaliers to donate the salaries to a shelter for domestic violence victims, as well hold a domestic violence night at their next home game.
“Here’s what you need to do. You need to name and suspend everybody involved in making that video and to donate their salaries to a shelter to victims of domestic violence. You need to fire whichever executive or executives in your organization that actually saw that and said, ‘Great work, Todd, run it.’ You need to arrange a domestic violence awareness night next Tuesday during playoff game five and offer to match fans’ donations and give out t-shirts and have a seminar instead of the halftime show. Or go out of business.”
