Limbaugh Speculates Media Backlash Against Brady Due to Skipping Out Meeting Obama

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh commented on the Deflate-Gate report by Ted Wells on New England Patriots and their star quarterback Tom Brady purposefully using deflated footballs in order to gain an advantage in games.

According to Limbaugh, the backlash from the media stems from Tom Brady skipping out on going to the White House to meet President Barack Obama with the rest of the team to have their Super Bowl championship recognized.

“He didn’t go because Josh Earnest, in one of these White House press briefings, had made a joke about Deflate-gate and Brady takes this allegation that he’s a cheater very seriously and says, ‘Screw it. I’m not going.’ That’s insulting enough, the drive-by media, ‘That was a direct insult to Obama. OK, the next opportunity we have to go get Brady we’re gonna take it, well here it is.’”
