Sunday night at a press conference following the fatal shooting of two armed suspects outside of a Muhammad art exhibit in Garland, TX, police said security guard Bruce Joiner, “was taken to the hospital and treated and has been released.”
He added, “because of the situation and what was going on today and history of what we have been told, has happened in other events like this, we’re considering their car as possibly containing a bomb. Our bomb unit is there and working on that vehicle. And that’s where we are at this time. So far as identifications on the men, we have not touched the bodies because they’re close by the car, and then we’ll find out who they are and what’s going on. We are in the process of interviewing any witnesses, along with the man that was shot.”
