On Sunday’s “Sports Reporters” on ESPN, ESPN journalist John Saunders discussed the upcoming fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao on May 2. Mayweather has been convicted five times of domestic violence.
Saunders proclaimed that knowing Mayweather Jr.’s history, he could not be paid to watch this fight, joining ESPN’s Keith Olbermann in not watching.
“Because of his history with domestic violence if the cable companies came to my home, paid me to watch the fight, and hooked it up and gave me surround-sound they could not get me to watch this fight with this guy.”
