This year’s Masters Champion Jordan Spieth appeared on CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” to speak about winning his first Masters Championship on Sunday after finishing up tied for second place the previous year.
According to Spieth, barely losing to Bubba Watson and seeing him enjoy his win made him want to experience winning The Masters as well.
“Last year I watched Bubba Watson, a deserving champion, walk up that 18th green with the win, watched him walk up to the patrons giving him a standing ovation. That was tough. I definitely had a chip on my shoulder and wanted to experience that myself because I had a chance to win last year.”
