Former Obama Senior Advisor David Axelrod predicted Hillary Clinton will face questions on the economy because “there’s a sense that work doesn’t pay” on Friday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC.
“We have an economy that has recovered from the recession, but people still feel a great sense of insecurity. There’s a sense that work doesn’t pay, that the future is not secure for working families, and this is the fundamental concern that I hear when I travel around the country. I’m sure she’s going to [Hillary Clinton] hear a lot of that in Iowa as well, and her message has to be pitched to her ideas about how we can move this economy forward in a way that’s more inclusive” he stated.
