Representative Gwen Moore (D-WI) remarked that it is difficult to fight “well-funded” outlets like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday’s “Washington Journal” on C-SPAN.
“I think that a lot of us are really frustrated about our so-called messaging. And it is really difficult to fight against — I think Republicans have a 24 hour, seven day a week opportunity to talk to folks through Fox News and through programs like Rush Limbaugh. They’re very, very well-funded venues” Moore stated.
When asked if Democrats have the same venues, Moore responded, “I can go out of the country, and the only channel I can get maybe is CNN. But I can go anywhere in the world and get Fox. They’re very, very well-funded venues, and a lot of people rely on them for their major source of news.”
