CNN’s Erin Burnett: Brian Williams ‘Lied’

On her Thursday broadcast, CNN’s “OutFront” host Erin Burnett declared NBC’s “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams lied in his past statements about an incident involving a Chinook helicopter in 2003.

“‘NBC Nightly News’ anchor and managing editor, Brian Williams, facing new questions tonight after he lied about being on a U.S. military plane that was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade during the Iraq war. The newsman apologized to viewers but some don’t think he went far enough,” Burnett said.
