BOSTON—Donald Cerrone tells Breitbart Sports he would fight “as many times as they’d let me.”
Taking on Benson Henderson at UFC Fight Night in Boston on Sunday just fifteen days after vanquishing previously undefeated Myles Jury, Cowboy has come to epitomize the “anytime, anywhere” fighter. At the UFC’s gym in Boston, the lightweight mesmerized the crowd by putting on an exhibition of seriously scary kicks.
When told that by Sunday he’ll have competed six times in the last year when Anderson Silva, Nick Diaz, and Cain Velasquez haven’t competed at all, Cerrone reasons to Breitbart Sports: “Their bank account are a little different than mine.”
The former professional bullrider and kickboxer says he’d like to fight at the UFC’s upcoming card in Broomfield, Colorado. Appearing on the Valentine’s Day card would give him three fights for 2015 already.
“I have no bitchin’ about my pay,” Cerrone told the press scrum. “I don’t know why guys do. I’d do it for free.”
