Bill Maher: ‘I Had Some Issues’ With ‘Rah-Rah’ ‘American Sniper’

HBO host Bill Maher said that he “had some issues” with the “rah-rah” “glorification of the sniper” in the film “American Sniper” on Friday.

“I had some issues with it,” Maher said of the film, “first of all, just the glorification of the sniper, I get it that you want to protect your buddies in the military. But, you know, you are in a country where you don’t belong, they probably wouldn’t be shooting at you if you weren’t there to being with. This rah-rah sh*t. You know, it’s almost like Clint Eastwood would appear at a Republican convention and talk to a chair” he stated.
