NBC Terror Analyst: ‘Get Rid of This Political Correctness’

NBC News Terrorism Analyst Michael Sheehan said that the US needs to “get rid of this political correctness” and acknowledge that “Islamic jihadi extremism” is the clear threat to the US on Monday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC.

“The strategic threat to the United States is clearly Islamic jihadi extremism. Those other ones are minor to nothing here in the United States. And we need to get rid of this political correctness…and not allow political correctness. if you remember, Joe, when Mayor de Blasio (D) first came in New York City under great fanfare, a great section of the NYPD Intelligence Division was shut down. Now, they’re still operating at a very good rate because Commissioner Bratton knows what he’s doing. He’s got a Deputy Commissioner John Miller who knows what he’s doing. They still have a robust program, there, but again, the message was sent that’s somewhat chilling to other police departments not to have those type of capabilities” he stated.
