Buchanan: ‘A Lot of People’ in Muslim World Think Attacks Justified

Columnist Pat Buchanan argued that “in Muslim world” “there are probably a lot of people saying ‘those guys did the right thing [in attacking Charlie Hebdo]'” on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”

“They [Charlie Hebdo] went out, they insult the prophet repeatedly, they got these lewd, crude cartoons, they know what happened with the Danish cartoon where they had the prophet with the head of a bomb, they know what happened to Theo Van Gogh and they keep at it and they provoked them and in the Muslim world, I can tell you, below the level of governments, there are probably a lot of people saying ‘those guys [the terrorists] did the right thing.'”
