Levin: Scalise Should Go, Would be Gone if Tea Partier

Talk radio host and author of “The Liberty Amendments,” Mark Levin, argued Representative Steve Scalise (R-LA) should resign on Monday.

Levin said that while he doesn’t believe Scalise held the views of David Duke, or even knew he was speaking to a conference run by Duke, it made no sense for Scalise to associate with Kenny Knight or attend any meeting at Knight’s request.

He then expressed astonishment that House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), who had previously attacked the Tea Party, was now defending Scalise, adding that “if Steve Scalise was [Rep.] Louie Gohmert (R-TX) or had been [former Rep.] Michele Bachmann (R-MN) or whomever, they would have been thrown off the Capitol Dome by now.”
