Fournier: Challenges to Boehner ‘Pandering’ By ‘No Governing Caucus’

National Journal Senior Political Columnist and Editorial Director Ron Fournier denounced challenges to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) by other Republican members of the House as “pandering” to the “no governing caucus” on Monday’s “On the Record” on the Fox News Channel.

Fournier said of the challengers”they’re pandering. This is the no governing caucus representing folks who would rather get nothing done than have any progress at all in Washington. Who would rather oppose everything the president wants to have done than make any progress at all . So, it’s a political posturing. Some folks will make their position known and raise some money off of it. But, at the end of the day, the speaker will be reelected.”
