Former NYPD Commissioner: De Blasio, Sharpton ‘Have Blood on Their Hands’

On Saturday’s broadcast of “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik condemned New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and so-called civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton for actions Kerik argued led to the shooting deaths of two New York City police officers earlier in the day.

“It’s — with the exception of September 11, this takes me back to 1988. We had two officers killed on October 18,” Kerik said. “This reminds me of the days back in the ’60s and ’70s when we faced executions of New York City cops. In this circumstance I believe, I personally feel, that Mayor de Blasio, Sharpton and others like them, they actually have blood on their hands. They encouraged this behavior. They encourage protests. These so-called peaceful protests that, where people are standing out there saying ‘kill the cops,’ well, I hope they’re happy, because they got what they wanted.”
