Peter King: Sydney an Example of the ‘Changing Face of Terrorism’

Monday, on the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom w/Bill Hemmer and Martha Maccallum,” Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said the hostage situation that unfolded in Sydney, Australia over the past 24 hours is an example of the “changing face of terrorism.”

King said, “What we saw today though is the changing face of terrorism, and the new threat from terrorism in that it is not necessarily coming from a card carrying member or official member of ISIS or any other al Qaeda-type organizations. It can be a sympathizer, it can be a fanatic, it can be somebody on the edge. We see that in Canada, we see that in New York, where a deranged person with an axe attacked a police officer in Queens, but they are inspired by what they hear from ISIS.”
