Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) predicted that the president’s executive action on immigration would be the “insurance policy” “that Democrats, in the future, will, in all likelihood, win every presidential contest from here on out” on Monday’s “Laura Ingraham Show.”
“What the ruling class in Washington have just decided is that we will have open borders, we will not have any sovereignty over our borders, and it is, in effect, the president has just put the insurance policy in the bank, so that Democrats, in the future, will, in all likelihood, win every presidential contest from here on out” she said of the passing of the cromnibus bill that contained funding for the president’s executive action through March.
Bachmann expressed skepticism that Republicans in Congress would push to defund the action in March, saying “that’s what I heard for eight years, ‘don’t worry, we’ll fight on the next one.'”
She continued “this is the voter registration drive for the president’s permanent political class of the far leftinto the future, and the Republicans made it happen.”
Bachmann argued that regardless of whether the illegal immigrants impacted under the executive action are legally allowed to vote, they still will end up voting because “how likely do you think it will be that the people who are giving out the voter registrations will ask about legal status when a person has a US driver’s license, a Social Security number, Medicare, and they also have a work permit?”
