CNN posted a preview an interview that will air on Sunday on “State of the Union” where host Candy Crowley sat down with the former President George W. Bush.
In the clip the former commander-in-chief said it was “hard to understand,” why the grand jury decided not press charges against the police officer for the death of Eric Garner.
Bush said, “You know, the verdict was hard to understand, but I hadn’t seen all the details. But it’s sad that race continues to play such an emotional, divisive part of life.”
