NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd said that Hillary Clinton’s supporters are “nervous” about former Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) challenging Clinton in 2016 “if he ever got traction” on Friday’s “Hugh Hewitt Show.”
“He [Webb] presents, put it this way, if you were to go into a factory and say ‘who’s the perfect potential challenger for her [Hillary]?’ I think the only problem is, I think demographically.” Adding that he would hit Clinton on her policy in Libya and that he would run to Clinton’s left on the economy, but “the question is, can he raise money?”
He concluded, “I think they [Hillary’s supporters] are nervous about him if he ever got traction.”
