Thursday on Newsmax TV’s “America’s Forum,” former adviser to Presidents Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon Pat Buchanan said while President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty action is an impeachable offense, since the Republicans don’t have the votes, the Congress must spend the next two years attempting to “contain and control” the rogue president who is handing a victory to lawless illegal immigrants.
Buchanan said, “I just think we are in another country now and I can’t express how much I feel this diminishes us as one nation, one people one country.”
He went on to explain that immigrants who respected U.S. law “look like fools” while the lawless “guys who went up and walked across the border and pushed the kids across the border, they triumphed, they succeeded, they won.”
“That’s the message the president of the Untied States is sending to our country and countries all over the world,” he continued. “Like a dictators he’s doing it himself and says, ‘Impeach me and be damned.’ So my view of this is the Congress should act in such a way to contain and control him until the end of his presidency.”
