Talk radio host Laura Ingraham reacted to a report from USA Today about a burglary at New Beginnings Church in Illinois that its African-American pastor, Rev. Corey Brooks believes is motivated by his support for Illinois Republicans Bruce Rauner and Jim Oberweis on Tuesday.
Ingraham agreed with Brooks’ statement to WGN in Chicago that “it’s unfair that a person does not have a right to voice their opinion and speak about who they want to support, and that some people still feel that you have got to stay on this Democratic plantation, and if you choose to leave it or go off it, we will attack you.”
“Look at what they did to Col. Allen West, look at what they did to Justice Clarence Thomas, or tried to do, this is what they do. Everyone from Tom Sowell to Walter Williams, Mia Love. You can’t get off the plantation, it is their sole province for maintaining control of the black population.” she said.
