On “CBS This Morning” on Monday, network White House senior correspondent Bill Plante reported the Obama administration was pushing back against efforts to impose quarantines on some health care workers that had encountered the Ebola virus.
“Over the weekend, the White House pushed hard against New York and New Jersey and other states to drop the quarantine,” Plante said. “They plan to have new guidelines to announce later this week. They say the new quarantine program in New York and New Jersey is not grounded in science.”
