In an interview with BBC “Newsnight” host Evan Davis that aired on Thursday, Russell Brand expressed his skepticism about politicians and corporations in general.
However, more specifically, Brand pointed to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States as an area where he is “open-minded” to other versions of what might have happened beyond what had already been reported.
“I think it is interesting at this time when we have so little trust in our political figures, where ordinary people have so little trust in their media, we have to remain open-minded to any kind of possibility,” Brand said.
“Do you trust the American government? Do you trust the British government?” Brand added. “What I do think is very interesting is the relationship that the Bush family have had for a long time with the bin Laden family.”
