Radio host Rush Limbaugh reacted to a report in The Hill that an amnesty bill would have a better chance of passing if the Republican Party won the Senate in 2014 by predicting that such a move would “be the end of the Republican Party” on Thursday.
He argued that such a move would be “crazy,” “self-defeating,” “almost a suicidal move,” before declaring “if the Republicans do win the Senate and control Congress and turn around and vote for amnesty…it’d be the end of the Republican Party.”
Limbaugh also said that Republicans support amnesty because “big corporations and Chamber of Commerce types” are “the masters now” because of their large donations to the GOP.
