On Wednesday’s “The Kelly File,” host Megyn Kelly played a clip that compared the tenor of President Barack Obama’s address to the United Nations earlier in the day to then-President George W. Bush, who addressed the same body from the same spot shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Kelly noted the clip was especially remarkable in that Obama had ran has the anti-Bush, anti-Cheney and anti-war candidate. Yet six years later, Obama’s rhetoric has taken a tone similar to Bush in the wake of the U.S. military’s air strikes on ISIS strongholds in Syria.
