Senate candidate Scott Brown (R-NH) argued “this race is about immigration” in a discussion of his campaign against Democrat incumbent Jeanne Shaheen on Wednesday’s “Laura Ingraham Show.”
Brown attacked Shaheen’s stance on immigration, which he described as “one of the greatest threats” facing the country. Brown particularly criticized Shaheen for voting against sending troops to the US border. He stated that he would support greater border enforcement and would not “allow the rewarding” of illegal immigrants with taxpayer benefits.
Brown also hit Shaheen for her opposition to leaving a transitional force in Iraq and rising gas prices while arguing that the US should revoke the passports of Americans who have gone to fight with ISIS.
