GLASGOW, United Kingdom – UKIP leader Nigel Farage this week gave a speech in Glasgow urging Scots to vote “no” in the upcoming referendum on Scottish independence.
He said that the ‘grey men in suits’ of Westminster had come to Scotland to urge Scots to stay in ‘their union’.
“It’s not their union, it is your union” he said to great fanfare.
About two dozen protesters gathered outside to protest Mr Farage’s speech, where he was flanked by a number of Members of the European Parliament from across the United Kingdom.
Scotland goes to the polls on Thursday to decide whether or not it splits from the United Kingdom.
