Olbermann Slams 'Supposed News Website' Huffington Post

Keith Olbermann, former MSNBC host and current anchor of ESPN2’s “Olbermann,” ripped the Huffington Post for hiring former NFL wide receiver and “9/11 truther” Donte Stallworth on Thursday.

Olberman mocked the Huffington Post for giving Stallworth the title of “fellow,” saying, “I don’t know why they’re using an academia think tank term at the Huffington Post, still it is more honest than calling people at the Huffington Post ‘journalists.’”

He then read multiple tweets from Stallworth advocating 9/11 conspiracy theories, and addressed Stallworth’s claim that he had changed his mind on the September 11 attacks by stating “it would be ok, if it were true. Stallworth was still tweeting out 9/11 conspiracy stuff last October and November.”

Olbermann concluded by addressing the Post directly, declaring, “Your supposed news website just hired to cover national security, a still theoretically active NFL player with no journalism experience, who’s a 9/11 truther, supposedly reformed about being a 9/11 truther, but lying about when he reformed, and oh, by the way, who pleaded guilty to killing a man with a car during a DUI five years ago.”
