Adrianna Alvarez, one of the participants in protests for an increased minimum wage by fast food workers, said that a $15-an-hour minimum wage was just the starting point on Thursday’s “Jose Diaz-Balart” on MSNBC.

When asked whether she thought $15 an hour was a fair wage or “just the beginning of what you think should be even a higher pay per hour rate?” She responded, “For now … it’s fair, for now. I mean, everything is going up, it’s been like four years that the minimum wage hasn’t gone up. So, we have to start somewhere.”
