Friday and the Americans for Prosperity “Defending the Dream” summit, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) went on the offensive against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is said to be the frontrunner for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.
Paul took aim at her tenure as the nation’s chief diplomat and particularly hammered her on the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
According to Paul, that disqualified her to be commander-in-chief and he added that she might not have even lasted in her husband’s, former President Bill Clinton, administration.
“I think if Hillary Clinton had worked for Bill Clinton she’d have probably been fired,” Paul said.
