MSNBC anchor Ronan Farrow said he was a “fan” of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in a discussion of Paul’s opinion on same-sex marriage on Thursday.
Farrow criticized Paul’s comments about having children out-of-wedlock leading to poverty in response to a question on same-sex marriage, arguing that Paul’s stance was “not backed by any literature.”
And “there’s no literature that links that [out-of-wedlock] births to more same-sex marriage.” Farrow did temper his comments by declaring, “I’ve got to say, I’m a Rand Paul fan.”
