Pinal County, AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu, whose jurisdiction includes Oracle, where protestors took to the streets to oppose the transfer of illegal immigrants to the city, said Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson’s claim that DHS coordinates with local officials on the transfer of unaccompanied minors is “not true” on Tuesday’s “Your World With Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.
“Jeh Johnson, the current Secretary of Homeland Security, testified before Congress…he was asked, ‘are you coordinating with the state and local authorities?’ and he said ‘yes, we are.’ And I can tell you for a fact that that’s not true. It’s not happening” Babeu said.
He added “whistleblowers alerted me, federal agents that said ‘Sheriff Paul you need to be aware of this.’” And “I’m sick and tired of our federal government doing things in secret. They’ve undermined the rule of law.”
