After reports their leader was killed in an attack ISIS has released a video filmed in a mosque in the city of Mosul allegedly showing the first public appearance of it’s leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi giving a Ramadan sermon
In the video filmed reportedly Friday Baghdadi, the self-proclaimed caliph of the islamic state of Iraq and Syria,calls on all Muslims to obey him.
“God has granted your brothers, the mujahedin, victory and a conquest after years of patience and holy struggle, and enabled them to achieve their objective. I was appointed in charge of you, though I am not the best or better than you, so if you see me in the right, then help me, and if you see me in the wrong, advise me and put me right.” he said.
The Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan is disputing the footage saying “We have analysed the footage … and found it is a farce”
