Homeland Security Chair McCaul Demands Obama Send Nat'l Guard to Border

Thursday at a Texas field hearing on the surge of unaccompanied minors at the border, Homeland Security Committee chairman Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX) said the illegal immigrant children currently in the holding facilities should be detained and then returned to their countries of origin as soon as possible.

He also called for the president to address the national security crisis of the drug cartels flooding the U.S.-Mexico border with these unaccompanied minors by sending the National Guard to the border immediately.
